My favorite pens and pencils
אתמול אחרי העבודה הלכתי להרצאה על מאיירים שכותבים וסופרים שמאיירים
Yesterday after work I went to a lecture about illustrators that writes and authors who draw
נזכרתי בכלי הכתיבה שאני אוהבת ותהיתי מתי אשתמש בהם לכתיבת סיפור
I reminisced my favorites pens and pencils and wondered when will i use them for writing
1 - עיפרון שקניתי בחנות המזכרות היחידה שהיתה פתוחה ביום ראשון בעיר זגרב בקרואטיה
A pencil i bought in the only souvenir shop which was open on sunday in Zagreb, Croatia
2- עט שהביאה לי מסקוטלנד חברה שטיילתי איתה בנפאל
A pen which i got from a friend that i travelled with in Nepal, from Scotland
3 - עיפרון חזיר שאמי קנתה לי לפני המון שנים והיה לו גם מחדד ורוד תואם
A pig pencil which my mom broght me years ago and also had a matching pink sharpener
4. עט שזכיתי בו כפרס בתחרות סיפורים בכיתה ד' על סיפור שכתבתי עם ילד בשם שגיא (היות והוא בן הוא קיבל פורפרה) A pen that i won as a prize in a wrting competition in fourth grade for a
story i wrote with a boy named Sagi (since he is a boy he won a dreidel)
5. עיפרון שהביא לי חברי אורי, עם ג'ונסים קטנים ושחורים כמו החתול שלי!
A pencil that broght me my friend Ori, with small black Johnsis like my cat!

אמש הייתי בתערוכה "לול" של אמנית מדהימה בשם ליסבט אפק
Yesterday i went to an exhibition called "Lul" (the meaning in hebrew is chicken coop) of an amazing artist called Liesbeth Afek
ליסבט היא המורה הראשונה שלי לרישום וציור (מגיל 8)

Liesbeth is my first teacher of drawing and painting (since i was 8 years old)

In the exhibition there are fantastic peaces which involves drawing, illustration and calligraphy

This exhibition is a must for every designer and artist which is interested in line and stein

Me moved John to a guest house for a while since the apartment is full of contagious hair with the fungus we are sad without him :(

עכביש חתול*Spider cat
בדרך כלל ג'ון החתול ואני ישנים מחובקים, אך בזמן האחרון...
Usually i sleep with John, my cat, but lately....
אסור לי לגעת בו, מסתבר שעקיצת אשת העכביש היא פטריה שעברה אליי ממנו
I Can't touch him, it turned out the the Kiss of the spider is a fungus i got from him
זה לא קל להתרחק מכזה חתול חמוד.
Its not that easy staying away from such a sweet cat

השראה
אתמול הייתי בפצ'ה קוצ'ה ונהניתי מאוד לראות את כינרת וקרן החמודות שלמדו איתי בבצלאל. התרגשתי לחשוב שחדר העבודה שלי היה בעבר חדר העבודה של קרן, שנותנת לי המון השראה.
Yesterday i went to the Pecha Kucha TLV, there i saw Kinneret and sweet Keren who studied with me in Bezalel. i was excited to think that my work space at home used to be Keren's, who give me so much inspiratiom.

I glued it to a blue paper and scanned it

Suddenly i remembered the amazing Nazca Lines i saw in peru, and realized how much i was excited by.these huge, well designed, unbelievable icons and the designer, as always, remained anonymou
ואלה שתי אבנים שקניתי למזכרת מהמקום המופלא והמסתורי.
And these are two stines i boughr as a souvenir form this great mysterious place.

סבא ליאון האהוב זכרו לברכה (2)
היום לפני מאה ושתיים שנים סבא ליאון האהוב שלי נולד.
הוא נפטר כשהייתי בת 15 ועכשיו אני יותר זמן בלעדיו מאשר כשהייתי איתו.
Today, about 102 years ago my beloved grandfather Leon was born.
He passed away when i was 15 and now im more years without him than i was with him.
כשבאתי למבחני קבלה של בצלאל הבאתי איתי רישום דיו של סבא שעשיתי ע"פ התמונה עם הכובע. הבוחן אמר "זה סבא שלך? הוא נראה כמו כוכב קולנוע!"
When i came to Bezalel exams i broght an ink drawing of grandfather that i made by the photo of him with the hat. The examiner said "is this your drandfather? he look like a movie star!"
חוץ מהיותו יפה תואר הוא היה איש חם וטוב לב מאין כמוהו, בעל כישרון לציור, למוסיקה ולשפות ובעיקר כישרון מיוחד לאהוב להרעיף על כולם חום ותחושה מדהימה. כל פעם שאכלנו יחד הוא היה משבח את הבישולים של סבתי ומרעיף עליה חום ואהבה.
Except being so handsome he was a good hearted man, talented in art, music and languages, and mostly very talented to love and welcome everybody. every time we ate together he used to tell my grandma how much he loves her food.
הצילומים הם חלק מעבודה שעשיתי בזמן השבעה של סבתי סופי שנפטרה לפני שלוש שנים. מתגעגעת אליכם.
These photos are part of a project i made during my grandmother Sofi shiv'ah who passed away three years ago. i miss you two very much

מתנות מתוקות sweet stuff
חוץ מתשומת הלב והברכות המקסימות קיבלתי השבוע כמה דברים מגניבים
Except the attention and the lovely cards i got this week some cool stuff
תיק מגניב מבן דודי אוהד, המון פרחים מארנון, מהמשפחה ומחברים בעבודה, צמיד חברות מדבורה היקרה וכפפפי, כפפות שסרגה טליה המתוקה שהיא גם הקופירייטרית שהמציאה את השם הגאוני - כפפפי!

A Cool bag from my cousin, lots of flowers from Arnon, my family and friends fron work, a friendship bracelet from dear Dvora, and knitted gloves by sweet Talia who also invented the great name Kfafefi which combine the word Kfafa (glove) and Efi (This is me) :)
